Disney Magic!

Once Upon A Time......

In a small town in the state of Illinois, there were two brothers who changed the world. In 1923, brothers Walt and Roy Disney established the Walt Disney Company in a studio in Los Angeles, California. The studio was known as The Disney Brothers Studio. They produced an animated films collection called the ALICE comedies. Ever since the Disney brothers produced the ALICE comedies, they have created multiple cartoons, such as Oswald the Lucy Rabbit (1927) and Mickey Mouse (1928). The Walt Disney Company's first feature-length film was in 1937 with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Disneyland, Walt's first Disney theme park and it opened on July 17th, 1955 in Anaheim, California. However, on December 15th, 1966, Walt Disney died from lung cancer.

The Magic Does Not End Here!

On October 1st, 1971, Walt Disney World Resort opens in Orlando Florida. Walt Disney World started small, with only Magic Kingdom and two hotels. Now, Walt Disney World added more theme parks named Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Also, there is a water park called Disney's Blizzard Beach Water park. In addition, thirty more hotels and resorts were added on the Walt Disney World property....

....AND THEY ARE STILL EXPANDING!

In addition to the two Disney theme parks in the United States, Disney has other parks across the globe! They are respectively called Disneyland Paris, Toyko Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland. The Disney Company is in progress of creating a new theme park in China called Shanghai Disneyland. Shanghai Disneyland is expected to open in late 2015 or early 2016. (finger's crossed!)
The Disney Company open's their first Disney Store (respectively named) in Glendale, California in 1987. Now there are over 300 Disney Stores WORLDWIDE!

....STILL EXPANDING!

On December 31st, 2009, Disney acquired Marvel Entertainment.
Superheros are now spreading the magic....
Along with Star Wars!
Disney acquired Lucasfilm Ltd LCC on December 21st, 2012.

A Little Pixie Dust Can Go A Long Way!

With the success of Frozen, an animated film that came out in November 2013, there are a lot of opportunities for the Disney Company can expand; especially with the new edition of the Disney family of Marvel and Star Wars!

I bet if Walt is looking down at the Walt Disney Company right now, he would be so proud!

Spreading love, happiness, joy and inspiration with a little help of Disney Magic will put a smile on anybody's face!
